Double Check Procedure
ACTIVATE CALL FORWARDING:
Access line 1, Dial "72#", you should get a second dial tone.
Dial "______________" wait for an operator to answer. Simply
tell the operator that you are signing out and give any special instructions
you may have. Hang Up.
Double Check:
Access line 1 again, Dial "72#", you should immediately get a busy signal,
this means that your call forwarding is activated. If you should get a
second dial tone then dial the _______________ again, you should get
a tone and then it should start ringing again. You can now hang up.
Note: We recommend that you do not use line
1 once call forwarding is activated. By dialing 73 and a pause will disconnect
call forwarding. Also, some phone lines require you to dial "9105#" or
"*72" to activate call forwarding. Check with us for your codes.
DEACTIVATE CALL FORWARDING:
To turn off call forwarding so that you can answer calls access line
1, Dial "73#", you should hear a stuttered dial tone then hang up and you
should be all set.
CHECKING IN FOR MESSAGES:
When we page your on-call we will send them our check-in line number
which is "___________". When they call that line they will hear a tone,
after the tone enter the passcode of "______". When they enter that passcode
it tells us who they are and that they are checking in for messages. An
operator will read the messages to them. If they arent at a touch tone
phone they can just stay on the line after the tones and tell the operator
who they are and that they are checking in for messages.
